Remember Snake? It was one of couple of games preinstalled on my Nokia phone – back when phone weren’t smart. Over the weekend, I decided to build it using ReactJS. A web game you can install on your phone and play offline; no app store, no ads, no network required.
Just like the classic game, move the pixelated snake and clear all food to advance. Each level adds another food, so the board fills up over time. You can play it on the desktop using your arrow keys or WASD. On mobile, it’s just a directional swipe. You can also “Add to Home Screen” on iOS/Android to play completely offline. Best part, no ads.
